This is a caricature of Bob Uecker and this is officially my first celebrity caricature job. I do sketches of celebrities of course, but this was my first paying commission. I thank Jeremy from Phoenix Caricature for this one. -Adam
This was a late wedding present for a friend. Generally I’m a little more conservative with color in the wedding caricatures but these two were married outside on the beach so I thought of sunset colors. The bride also likes pink so I figured I could experiment a little.
Sometimes getting people to tell a story in pictures is tough, in this particular case it was very easy. The client knew exactly what she wanted and I thought her ideas were great. Never be afraid to put a few elements into a caricature that means something to the person being drawn. -Adam
There’s bugs in the portfolio page so there’s lots of images that shouldn’t be there. I apologize for this and it will be taken care of soon. Thanks for your patience. -Adam
Last night I was honored to draw at my friend’s wedding reception. As you can see it was no ordinary wedding reception… All the costumes were so creative and so well done, I was impressed. -Adam
We went to the Ultimate Women’s Expo again this past weekend and we had a blast!
I colored some heads from one of my old sketchbooks. -Adam
This was a 60th birthday present I did last week. The budget didn’t allow for all the kids to be drawn individually, but I wanted a creative way to incorporate their names. Since birthday boy here is a Wolfpack fan, I made all the kids wolves.
We’re doing free caricatures this weekend at the Draw Me Sexy Facebook blog. For the record they’re not the polished commissions just quick unfinished sketches we can have some fun with.
I went old school on tonight’s sketch and did Carmen Electra.
